John 3:3 Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
A true Christian is someone who has been born again; not by joining a religion, but by a transformation of the heart when they receive the Spirit of Christ within.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.
When you receive the Holy Spirit through repentance towards God and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ, you will be given the power of God from Heaven, causing you to lead a new way of life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You’re not saved from God’s judgment of sin by being a good person, going to church, repeating prayers, or performing religious rituals.
Galatians 3:2 Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
You’re saved by grace through faith; when you repent of your sins, believe in the gospel, and receive the Holy Spirit.
Mark 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Many people have not received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Many church goers have not been born again. And many will continue to reject the truth, until one day it will be too late.
Romans 8:9 Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
The Spirit of Christ is only available because of the sacrifice Jesus made at the cross. There, He died for our sins, and was buried, and rose again the third day, so that we could be freed from death, and have hope in eternal life. But for you to be set free, the same Spirit that raised Jesus up from the dead must dwell in you.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
If you’re reading this and you've realized that you have not been born of the Spirit, or that you've grieved the heart of God, now is your opportunity to make it right. Now is your chance to take hold of God's grace.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Many churchgoers are on the broad road to Hell. Not because they don't believe in Jesus, but because they do not walk after the Spirit in righteousness. Many believers know The Word of God, but they do not know the God of The Word. One is through head knowledge. The other is through relationship.
By the Spirit, we can have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and fasting, studying the scriptures, and christian fellowship.
Hebrews 10:26-27 For if we go on sinning willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment and raging fire, which shall consume the enemies of God.
When you receive the Holy Spirit, you must be careful not to quench the Spirit by living contrary to what you know is right, going back to the way of unrighteousness. Do not forfeit your salvation by forsaking The Lord. But instead, pursue that which is holy and good, continue faithfully to the end, and you will be sure to enter the gates Heaven.
Seek him with all your heart, all your soul, and all your might. And don’t stop seeking...until you find him.
Ask for The Holy Spirit, and you shall receive.
God bless,
